Who is Mattia, NT TOP ADVENTURES founder.
🌿 Meet Mattia
Founder of NT Top Adventures
Born in Italy in 1987, Mattia developed an early passion for nature, culture, and travel. After studying Political Science, Sociology, and Anthropology between Italy and Paris (Sorbonne Nouvelle), he moved to Australia at 24 and spent a year exploring the country.
A visit to Alice Springs and the Northern Territory changed everything. Mattia fell in love with the land, its people, and its wild spirit — and chose it as his home.
He built his career as a professional tour guide with On Tour NT, working for over five years across Kakadu, Darwin, Uluru, Kings Canyon, and Alice Springs, specialising in private and VIP tours for international guests in English, Italian, French, and Spanish.
Fully accredited in Kakadu and Uluru–Kata Tjuta National Parks, and holding diplomas in Hospitality Management and Marketing & Communications, Mattia combines deep local knowledge with world-class service.
After international guiding experiences in Sudan, Tibet, and Peru, and community work during COVID, he founded NT Top Adventures — a boutique, award-winning company offering private, high-end experiences focused on nature, culture, and genuine connection.
